FarmSimple Wins Big at the Canadian Animal AgTech Awards

The FarmSimple team attended the Canadian Western Agribition in Regina, Saskatchewan where we participated in the Canadian Animal AgTech Awards for a second consecutive year.

What are the Canadian Animal AgTech Awards?

The Canadian Animal AgTech Awards showcase national and international businesses that have developed technology to solve critical issues that livestock producers face. Each business competed for an award in three categories:

• Rising Star- Presented by Economic Development Regina
• Most Innovative- Presented by Innovation Saskatchewan
• Business of the Year- Presented by Deloitte

We had the opportunity to pitch the HerdHand to a panel of judges and showcase our products to the public in AgTech Alley at the tradeshow.

And the Winner Is…

The judges chose the winners of each category based on Technology, Team & Experience, and Market Potential. We are pleased to announce that FarmSimple was selected as the winner of the Most Innovative award and the Business of the Year award for our HerdHand technology. We are honoured to be presented with these awards as they highlight our hard work and commitment to helping farmers and ranchers save time and money on their livestock operations. We want to thank Agribition for hosting the awards and everyone who has supported us because without you we wouldn’t be here today!

The HerdHand is a network-connected device that monitors water levels, temperatures, pressure, and quality of livestock watering systems. The HerdHand can prevent water outages for your livestock by sending a text message alert during critical events that may cause a water shortage.
