Installing a HerdHand in a Pump House or Well Shed

Instructions

Step 1: Mount HerdHand Device

Find a mounting location inside your pump house or well shed near a 120v receptacle. Mount the HerdHand in a vertical position.

Step 2: Install the Pressure Sensor

Thread the Pressure Transducer, included with the HerdHand, into a 1/4-inch port on your pump’s manifold. Note: if there is only one port available, use a T-fitting to tee in the analog gauge and the HerdHand’s Pressure Sensor into the same port.

Step 3: Connect the Pressure Sensor to HerdHand

Insert the Quick Connect Cable, connected to the Pressure Sensor, into the port at the bottom of the HerdHand and turn it to the right until it makes a clicking noise.

Step 4: Power on Device

Power on the HerdHand by connecting the Power Cable to the HerdHand and plugging it into a 120v receptacle.
