Pairing Your Device to the App

Follow these simple steps or watch the video to pair your HerdHand device to your account on the FarmSimple App.

Instructions

Step 1: Open the FarmSimple App

Launch the FarmSimple app on your device.

Step 2: Navigate to Pair Device

Tap the Pair Device button located at the bottom of the screen or select Pair a Device from the dropdown menu on the left side of the screen.

Step 3: Enter the Device ID

You can either manually enter the device ID found on the front of your HerdHand device or use the camera feature by clicking the button on the right side of the Device ID field to scan the QR code. This will automatically populate the device ID.

Step 4: Set Device Name and Location

• Enter a unique device name and location.
• This helps you differentiate between multiple devices when you receive alerts.
• You can edit the name and location at any time.

Step 5: Configure Device Details and Sensors

Select the battery type, data format (Metric or Imperial), and the types of sensors connected to your device.

Step 6: Finalize Pairing

Click Pair Device to complete the pairing process.
